Sticking with the candy theme for Halloween today's I Remember WHENsday is a throwback to when candy cigarettes and bubblegum cigars were common place in the candy aisle. Yeah, I was known to fake smoke my entire pack when I got them. I remember acting like the adults we knew who smoked. Trying to hold it right between our fingers and puffing imaginary smoke. My cousin even rolled his pack up in his t-shirt sleeve at times. HA! I know its horrible to be pretending to smoke as a child but this is the time I grew up in. Honestly, if I saw my kids pretending to smoke today it would really bother me, yet when I was kid it wasn't disturbing at all. Times have changed and candy ciggies no longer have a home on candy shelves however, the memories still live on.
