Daffodils

March 25, 2015

As a kid I knew Spring and Easter were close when I saw these pretties blooming in my Grandma's yard. Even today I can't see them without thinking of her or this time of year. Known as Daffodils or Lent Lilies these pretties are the birth flower for March and the 10th Wedding Anniversary flower.  If your superstitious then always give in a bouquet, as the same legends that pair this flower with good fortune also warn of misfortune if a single bloom is presented.

What tickles your senses and reminds you of this time of year?

If I had seen this at a garage sale I would have bought it for the frame and thought it was a cheapo print.😂 https://t.co/qXfyr0ReNC
